FROM THE M4 MOTORWAY

• At Junction 18 of the M4, take the A46 southbound, signposted to Bath.
• After approximately 8 miles, the road becomes dual carriageway at the start of the Batheaston Bypass. Take the first slip road off the bypass, signposted to Bath. You will enter a traffic light controlled roundabout.
• Drive round the roundabout, and take the third exit towards Bath. You are now on the A4. This road has a 40mph limit, reducing to 30mph.
• Drive for about 1 mile until you approach a traffic light controlled junction. There are two filter lanes at the approach to the lights, and you should take the right hand lane. This allows you to drive straight on beyond the traffic lights.
• After approximately 300 yards you will approach a mini roundabout. Drive straight over (the second exit) and proceed along The Paragon - a long crescent shaped terrace of Georgian buildings on your left hand side.
• At the end of the Paragon you will arrive at a set of traffic lights at a four-way junction. Stay in the right hand filter lane, turn right into Lansdown Road, and drive up the hill.
• Take the second turning on the left into Bennett Street and then the first turning on the right into Russel Street.

FROM BRISTOL (A4)

• Drive along the dual carriageway approximately 4 miles from the centre of Bath until you approach a set of traffic lights. Before the traffic lights, take the left hand slip road signposted to Bath and Weston.
• Follow this road for approximately a mile and a half until you reach a set of traffic lights at a three way junction.
• Turn right onto Upper Bristol Road. Follow this road for about a quarter of a mile, and drive straight on at the next set of traffic lights.
• Continue on towards Bath city centre for 1½ miles – you will pass Victoria Park (a large play area) on your left hand side after ¼ mile. You will arrive at the corner entrance to Queen Square.
• Drive along the north side of the square and take the first exit left into Gay Street. Drive up Gay Street and continue up the hill rather than following the road around the right hand bend. At the top of Gay Street you will enter The Circus.
• Drive around The Circus and take the second exit into Bennett Street. Take the second turning on the left into Russel Street.
• Number 9 Russell Street will be found on the right hand side, almost at the top of the road, at the junction with Rivers Street.
• There is an intercom at the front door, and the bell for Flat 2 is the centre button of three.


FROM M3 MOTORWAY/A303

• Leave the M3 at the exit for the A303 Westbound. Continue on the A303, past Stonehenge until you reach the junction with the A36 near Deptford.
• Turn west onto the A36 towards Warminster. Stay on the A36, past the Warminster Bypass, by which time you will see signposts to Bath.
• Keep on the A36 until you reach Bath. You will approach the City through a 40mph zone and then a 30 mph zone.
• You will approach a mini-roundabout in the built up area. Sydney Gardens is on your left. The left exit (Sydney Place) is signposted to Wells, Glastonbury and Bristol (A4), and the right exit (Bathwick Street) is signposted to M4 and Chippenham etc. Turn right into Bathwick Street.
• After about ¼ mile you will cross a bridge and approach a set of traffic lights with a left or right turn only. Turn left.
• After approximately 300 yards you will approach a mini roundabout. Drive straight over (the second exit) and proceed along The Paragon - a long crescent shaped terrace of Georgian buildings on your left hand side.

FROM RAILWAY/BUS/COACH STATION

• By taxi, from outside the Railway Station and ask for Russel Street opposite the Queensbury Hotel.
• By bus, from the Bus/Coach Station, take the No. 2 and 4 (to Ensleigh) or the No 9 (to Larkhall). Ask the driver for the Bennett Street/Julian Road stop. After leaving the bus, walk either into Bennett Street and take the first right into Russel Street, or into Julian Road, and take the first left, then left again into Russel Street.
